Practicing Restorative Yoga is a profound act of self-love. It supports deep rest, helps reduce fatigue, strengthens the immune system, calms mental agitation, and supports emotional regulation by cultivating a felt sense of unity between body, mind, and soul.

You are warmly invited to join this online class — an opportunity to slow down, soften, and explore Svadhyaya: self-study as a compassionate inquiry, a way of listening more deeply to what is true within you.

Series: The Eight Limbs of Yoga

This 12-month cycle opens a space to explore the living wisdom of yoga as it continues to resonate today through ancient teachings.

Inspired by the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, this journey invites you to walk the yogic path step by step, weaving together Restorative Yoga practices, guided explorations of the Yamas and Niyamas, and moments of introspection.

A guiding thread throughout the year:
Living yoga beyond the mat — through slowness, listening, and the simple joy of being aligned with yourself.

Each class weaves together philosophical teachings, Restorative Yoga practice, guided relaxation, and gentle invitations to integrate yoga into everyday life.

Monthly Rhythm

3rd Thursday of each month · 14:00 – 15:30 (CET)
A 90-minute class (live on Zoom or recording available), including:

  • A living introduction to one limb of yoga
  • A practical off-the-mat reflection
  • A 75-minute Restorative Yoga sequence

1st Monday of each month
A 30-minute complementary practice (prerecorded), designed to gently support integration into daily life.

Themes Explored Throughout the Year

Months 1–5: The Yamas

  • Ahimsa — Non-violence: beginning with not causing harm
  • Satya — Truthfulness: honoring inner truth
  • Asteya — Non-stealing: releasing possession and welcoming connection
  • Brahmacharya — Moderation: walking with the sacred
  • Aparigraha — Non-attachment: the art of letting go

Months 6–10: The Niyamas

  • Saucha — Purity as an intention of love
  • Santosha — Contentment: finding joy in the present moment
  • Tapas — Discipline practiced with gentleness
  • Svadhyaya — Self-study: meeting the Self
  • Ishvara Pranidhana — Surrender to something greater

Month 11: Asana, Pranayama & Pratyahara

Although explored throughout the year, this month offers a deeper philosophical and historical inquiry into posture (asana), breath (pranayama), and the withdrawal of the senses (pratyahara).

Month 12: Dharana, Dhyana & Samadhi

An inner exploration of concentration, meditation, and absorption — tasting the quiet, indivisible presence at the heart of yoga.
